About Pastor
Darryl Hollenbeck
Let us introduce
our Pastor and Teacher.
Pastor
Darryl did not grow up in a Christian
household, but came
to know the Lord in his late thirties
as many of you reading the biographical
sketch will or may have already
done. It was after a successful
business career that it became
evident to him that something vital
was missing. He was searching for
wholeness. His life needed more
than financial
success could bring. That “something” was
an devoted relationship with Jesus.
Because
his wife, Violet, was a practicing
chiropractor in New
York at the time, a three year
separation from his wife and children
was necessary to allow Pastor Darryl
to attend Asbury Theological Seminary
in Wilmore, Kentucky, and prepare
for full time Christian ministry.
They
have four children, Paul 32, Lynn
30, Alison 24 and Scott, now
deceased. They also have two
grandchildren.
During that
separation, God was faithful as
He always is. Pastor
Darryl was faithful and obedient
to his calling to serve the Lord.
It has been a 10-year journey since
graduation. After having served
churches in northern New York,
southern Nevada and Raleigh, North
Carolina, the adventure continues
and has brought Pastor Darryl and
his wife to Spring Green, Wisconsin.
Pastor Darryl brings energy that
is fresh and challenging to his
messages. You will find sermons
Biblically sound and relevant with
application to daily living. Violet
hopes to practice chiropractic
in the area.
