Doing
your spring house cleaning? The library regularly
accepts donations of Christian books,
tapes and videos. The
library also accepts monetary donations. There are
a lot of good items being published. We
also like
to buy
some of the
current titles for our library. If you would like to make
a monetary donation, please contact Eva Cry or Rose
Ellen for
information or indicate the Library on your offering check.
There are also some Donation Envelopes on the table
in the
library for your use. Please drop the donation in the offering
or leave it with church office.
How
to sign out and return items
Choose your item, remove the card from the
pocket and write your name and the date on the card and place
it in the plastic card-holder on the wooden table next to
the desk in the library. There is a large wooden box on the
floor in the library that is used for a book return.
How
long can items be signed out?
Books, videos, CD's and cassettes may be
signed out for up to two weeks. Curriculum units and Bible
cassettes/CD's may be signed out for as long as needed. Bible
reference/commentary books without sign-out cards ar for personal
or group study and may not be removed from the library.
Bibles are always available to anyone who
wants one. Contact Dick Kraemer or Rose Ellen Schneider through
the church office at (608) 588-2442 if you want one for yourself
or a friend.
Some magazines available in the library
are: Biblical Archaeology Review, Focus on the Family, Campus
Life, Moody Monthly, Christian Youth News, New Man, Christianity
Today, Today's Christian Woman, Contemporary Christian Music,
Movie Guide, Discipleship Journal, World Magazine.
