The
River Valley Prayer Shawl Ministry
What is it?
The River Valley Prayer Shawl Ministry is
an ecumenical Christ-based ministry reaching out to people
in need of comfort and healing within the River Valley area.
Shawls may also be created for celebration events. But as
our ministry gets started, we are concentrating on those suffering
from loss or illness.
The original Prayer
Shawl ministry was started in 1998 and has since become an
international grassroots ministry striving to bring comfort
to people who are hurting physically or emotionally. The River
Valley Prayer Shawl Ministry was started in January 2007.
More information and patterns can be found at the original
shawl ministry website www.Shawlministry.com.
More patterns are available at the Charity Connection at the
LionBrand Yarn website www.lionbrand.com.
